The start of a new mixtape series featuring an eclectic mix of styles, sounds and themes. There’s nothing cohesive about this collection of songs, they're the result of a bad drug experience on our brains (without taking any drugs, amazing right?!)(1). Instead, it relies on being something that seems to be a lost art: A Mixtape. A Mixtape is not like a playlist. Instead, it’s an organic entity that rolls the listener along in a rollercoaster ride from the up’s & down’s that it presents. Playlists all are based around a similar sound to drive home something that becomes redundant really fast and loses replayability. With the mixtape, you can pop it in and be transported back and forth through time, reliving memories & emotions on all sorts of levels. And, if the mix happens to feature music that you weren’t familiar with previously, it opens the door for you to explore some new acts.
